About the event

The International Cultural Festival is an international activity held under UKM Astralic, a student activity club at IT Telkom Purwokerto. IT Telkom Purwokerto is a private college that is managed by the Telkom Foundation and the only institute of technology in Central Java that focuses on developing information technology-based knowledge in the fields of healthcare, agro-industry, tourism, and small-medium enterprise (HATS). Our institution has a variety of undergraduate programs, namely telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, food technology, software engineering, information systems, data science, industrial engineering, visual communication design, logistics engineering, digital business, and product design. Students who attend our institution come from a variety of regions with various cultures and beliefs that respect each other's cultural and background differences. Thus, the International Cultural Festival will be a place to introduce various cultures from both domestic and overseas university partners (UTHM, Universitas Selangor, and many more) to improve creativity and relations between university partners and provide insight about each other’s culture. The International Cultural Festival will introduce traditional clothing, traditional games, traditional food, and others. The International Cultural Festival will be held in a hybrid format and can be attended by domestic and international students outside IT Telkom Purwokerto, high school students, lecturers, teachers, and the general public. The festival activities include International Webinar, International Bazaar, and International Cultural Exchange. The series of activities also will be celebrated by community associations, and IT Telkom Purwokerto students.
