Whether infertility has touched your own story, someone you love, or you simply want to support mothers and families in our city — your presence matters.

    Why should you sponsor?

The Mamas Who Brunch was founded in 2026 by working corporate mom, Gelina Reed.

The name is a modern reimagining of “The Ladies Who Lunch”—a phrase historically associated with affluence, leisure, and social visibility. It described a class of women who gathered over long lunches, building influence through proximity, conversation, and presence. It was never just about the meal—it was about access, status, and being seen.

But The Mamas Who Brunch is here to redefine that narrative.

This is not about status—it’s about stewardship.
    Not about exclusivity—but about impact.

At its core, The Mamas Who Brunch is a brunch collective of mothers—women who are balancing careers, families, and purpose—coming together to turn connection into meaningful change. These brunches are intentionally curated spaces where community is built, awareness is raised, and real impact is made in the lives of others.

Because when women gather with intention, something powerful happens:

    • Conversations turn into ideas

    • Ideas turn into action

    • And action creates lasting change

This is where influence meets responsibility.

    Gelina Reed

My name is Gelina Reed, I live in Sunset Hills, Missouri with my husband, Brandon, our toddler Sofia, and our two dogs, Major and Marty. By day, I work in tech sales at a Fortune 100 company—an environment that has sharpened my ability to build relationships in corporate circles, drive strategy, and create meaningful impact.

By passion, I am an experience curator and event host.

Before transitioning into tech, I spent over 12 years in real estate property management, where I produced high-impact events—from grand openings and launch parties to resident experiences and large-scale community gatherings. I’m the one setting the table, bringing people together, and creating spaces that feel intentional, elevated, and memorable.

But I’ve come to realize something deeper: spaces like brunch tables—often dismissed as “frivolous” or “luxury”—are actually some of the most powerful places for connection, influence, and change.

That belief is what led me to create The Mamas Who Brunch.

This isn’t just about socializing—it’s about redefining it.

Because the reality is, the need is real:

    • In St. Louis, nearly 1 in 5 residents live below the poverty line, with significantly higher rates in the city compared to surrounding county areas

    • The median household income in St. Louis County is nearly double that of St. Louis City, highlighting a stark economic divide

    • Nationally, over 11 million children live in poverty in the U.S., and mothers are often at the center of that struggle

I lived in St. Louis City for over three years before moving to Saint Louis County in 2025, and I experienced firsthand what feels like two completely different worlds—separated not just by geography, but by access, education, opportunity, and awareness.

The Mamas Who Brunch exists to help bridge that gap.

Through curated brunch experiences, I bring together women—particularly mothers—with the intention of transforming connection into contribution. These gatherings are designed to shift perspective, spark awareness, and activate generosity—turning conversations into action that supports local mothers and families in need.

Because when women gather, things happen.

And when you pair influence with intention, you don’t just host a brunch with us—you change the lives around you.
