About the event

IUDM is about creating a Dance Marathon, a dynamic organization of friends in the community, that will provide hope for the children of Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis, Indiana and its affiliated programs, by generating funds that will be used solely to support the Hospital, its programs and its efforts to treat all children in need of health services in Indiana. IUDM holds dear to the following values: 
INCLUSIVENESS for all individuals who wish to join a membership level of IUDM.
PROVIDING A FAMILY to all members of IUDM, our community, and the families at Riley Hospital for Children.
PERSEVERANCE to continue to fight, day in and day out, for the kids at Riley Hospital for Children.

Why should you sponsor?

Indiana University Dance Marathon aims to inspire and educate the members of its organization and surrounding community with the goal of providing funds for Riley Hospital for Children. We intend to remain the second largest student-run organization in the country and remain all-inclusive for all individuals who want to make a difference for Riley Hospital for Children. We provide funding for the Wells Center for Pediatric Research and clinical support for Riley Hospital for Children. Lastly, we pride ourselves on creating an IUDM family that gives every student at Indiana University the opportunity to create lifelong friendships and memories while providing funds and hope For The Kids at Riley Hospital for Children. In choosing to sponsor Indiana University Dance Marathon, YOU too are creating a difference in the lives of children across the state and country!

IUDM is the 2nd largest student-run philanthropy in the US. It involves 36 hours of no-sitting, no sleeping, all for the kids. We have 4 IUDM community events & 6 major fundraising events, which involves 11 months of work by 23 student executive council members, and over 4,000 student committee members and dancers. We have 3 endowments filled through Riley Hospital for Children, with over $3,880,025.23 raised in 2015. Since 1991, IUDM has been committed to service, with over $24.1 million raised For The Kids. In choosing to sponsor IUDM, all donations will be made out directly Riley Children’s Foundation, a 501(c)(3) licensed organization, making your promotional efforts tax deductible. IUDM is an incredible cause, aiming to help and nurture sick children and helping them "be a kid again" at the marathon.
