This summer, Not Defined By FND, a newly established public charity dedicated to the FND (functional neurological disorder) community, is thrilled to host our Inaugural Awareness & Fundraising Event! Mark your calendars for August 3rd, 2024, as we gather at Halyburton Park for a day filled with exciting activities.

Get ready for a talent show like no other, a silent auction showcasing unique items created and donated by FND warriors and supporters, as well as one-of-a-kind gift baskets. But that's not all! Brace yourself for an unforgettable obstacle course that will provide a firsthand experience of the symptoms associated with FND.

Join us for games, delicious food and drinks, and, most importantly, a whole lot of fun! We would be absolutely delighted to have you join us for this joyous and meaningful celebration. Let's come together to raise awareness and support for the FND community in a way that is both festive and fulfilling!

The main goal of this event is to increase awareness for and knowledge of FND and raise funds, all while engaging with our community, both in person and online. I am the Founder and President of Not Defined By FND, a pioneering organization dedicated to supporting the Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) community. Diagnosed with FND last year, I have transformed my personal journey into a mission of advocacy, education, and support. My personal experience with the disorder provided a profound understanding and a passionate drive to create Not Defined By FND.

We are a newly established public charity with big dreams and bold ambitions. While we may not be a well-known name just yet, our innovative ideas and goals are sure to make a lasting impact. Our goal is to ignite a wildfire of change for the FND community, both nationally and globally.

We have already taken significant steps to raise awareness about Functional Neurological Disorder (FND). From creating informative videos and engaging on social media to establishing online support groups for individuals living with FND and their allies, we are dedicated to making a difference. Additionally, we have launched a petition to combat stigma and have begun collaborating with FND organizations worldwide on future projects. Visit our website to learn more about our goals.
