Deemed as the largest Cultural Fest in Punjab-Haryana, Zeitgeist is not just another event at IIT ROPAR, it is an experience to be lived, and it will leave behind memories that you will cherish for a lifetime. A 4 day extravaganza with a plethora of events in Singing, Dancing, Dramatics, Quizzing, Fashion, Oration, Poetry, Stand-up shows as well as Fun-filled and entertaining star nights, that have previously featured the best that Bollywood has to offer, Vishal-Shekhar, Ranjit Bawa, Mohit Chauhan, Gajendra Verma, and also International sensations such as Olly Esse and Havas Guruhi, Zeitgeist has grown over the years into a showcase of spectacle, an event like no other. This year’s theme, “A Gothic Poltergeist”, promises to be an edge of the seat thriller, so be warned, because this time, it is not for the faint hearted

We feel immense pleasure to announce that Indian Institute of Technology(IIT), Ropar will be organizing the 8th edition of it's Annual Socio-Cultural Fest, Zeitgeist from 11th to 13 October 2019. Zeitgeist, the largest cultural fest of Punjab-Haryana, and one of the prominent fest of India, is a Three-Day, Four Nights extravaganza consisting of events ranging from different cultural performances to comedy shows, EDM nights and star-studded events. IIT Ropar is fully operational from its 500 acres main campus, situated at just 50 km from Chandigarh. In our previous edition, the footfall was 15,000+, with an outreach to 250+ colleges from all over India,500+ campus ambassadors across the nation,and 50+ events in fields such as music, dance, drama, literature, fine arts, lifestyle and many more. We expect this count to grow exponentially this year considering the fact that this Zeitgeist will be organised in the main campus of IIT Ropar. We generate buzz among the students and the general public alike and attract crowds from all over India.
