RACHAEL'S TOTZ 'n' TEENZ
With a vision to create and run the finest children's agency in the world, Rachael Lewis founded Rachael's Totz n' Teenz modeling agency in 1992. Initial bookings began directly out of her New York City apartment with full blessings and support from her parents, Werner and Eunice Butt and further encouragement from others like Monique Pillard (President of Elite Model Management). Within 6 months of operation, Rachael moved into a commercial space in midtown Manhattan and won major clients such as American Express, The Gap, DKNY, Calvin Klein, Walt Disney, Avon, Footlocker, Reebok, Limited Too, Vogue Bambini, and many more. Rachael also attracted various store catalogs (Bloomingdale's, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Macy's, Talbots, etc.). It wasn't long before Rachael realized her dream, as Totz n Teenz quickly became one of the hottest children's modeling agencies in America.
Rachael's collaborative style enabled her to successfully broker deals, which allowed for the unprecedented placement of African-American children on the covers of Parent's Magazine, Child Magazine, and Earnshaw's Magazine. She also introduced minority children to worldwide campaigns with industry giants such as Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren.
Due to the rapid expansion of Rachael's Totz n' Teenz the necessity of membership to S.A.G. and A.F.T.R.A. became apparent. Bookings quickly grew to include TV commercials, film and broadway.
With a roster of over 150 steadily working young models, Rachael started to attract the children and siblings of major celebrities in film, music, sports and modeling. Rachael's professional reputation earned her the trust of those who had well-founded concerns about industry exploitation. Trey Smith, son of superstar Will Smith and Damon Dash Jr., son of record executive Damon Dash were just a few who entrusted their children to Rachael's expertise.
Rachael's incredible success with Rachael's Totz n' Teenz attracted professional offers from other agencies. Eventually, Rachael accepted an offer to open a children's division for Wilhelmina, Los Angeles where she developed new talent, instituted marketing strategies and negotiated bookings for TV, film and print. She also handled PR and managed all matters of finance and invoicing.
LEWIS ENTERTAINMENT, LLC
With her accumulated expertise in the entertainment industry, Rachael formed Lewis Entertainment where she combined her skills to produce a TV lifestyle show called In The Know, which got picked up by Clear Channel. Lewis Entertainment also provided management and PR services for several NFL and NBA superstars. Additionally, the acquisition and operations management of an acting and modeling company soon followed, where Rachael instituted the restructuring of company culture and strategy with a strong focus on the development of acting skills, etiquette and self-esteem. Additionally Rachael purchased an agency, exclusively designed for the representation of today's up and coming "Glam Squad" fashion Stylists, make-up and hair stylists. Adding her Personal touch, Rachael attracted high-profile clients such as Beyoncé, The Kardashians, Kin Catrall, Sex and The City: The Movie, Naomi Campbell, as well as top fashion magazines and major retail stores.
