About the event

ABOUT HANMUN 2020 is a simulation of an actual United Nations conference, where participants are tasked with solving a global issue through research, drafting, lobbying and debate to pass a suitable ‘resolution’. They take on the roles of delegates and chairs, representing different countries and work together with other participants from different backgrounds to take part in discussions and reach a solution for the agenda they have been assigned.

HANMUN will be held at Devbhoomi Himachal in the lap of Himalayas in lush green valleys. Delegates will get a feel of lively atmosphere away from their daily routines and a quotidian life. Many events such as clean up mountains will be an experience of a lifetime is the most anticipated and enlightning cultural event of
the institute, organized at the International level and with the involvement of well-known bands,
singers, musicians, artists, poets and participants from all across the country. Three days of
performances with a wide array of genres of dance, music and drama at their best, promise to
awe the audience.
