About the event
Hackfest is a security conference plus hackathon. It's a place where the best engineering students from across Ottawa and Montreal are coming to take their hacking skills to the test. It's all about meeting new people, winning cool prizes, enjoying some great food, and having loads of fun!
Why should you sponsor?
PLADO is a non-profit organization that is trying to make a social impact in the field of education. We run events like this Hackfest to raise money in order to help us in our mission to keep our courses affordable and accessible by as many people as possible.
As a sponsor, you get to take advantage of the traction that PLADO has managed to capture in such a short span of time and use it to advertise your own products and services. Karim AlibhaiMy name is Karim Alibhai and I am an engineer and a teacher. I love to create software that makes people happy as well as help people in every way possible. PLADO is a company that I founded in order to empower people with similar motivations in life. Through our short life span, we have reached many individuals with powerful stories of incredible passion that love to teach because they enjoy helping people as opposed to making money. We would also like to announce your sponsorship on our Facebook page in order to get our viewers excited about the event (our Facebook page has almost 1600 likes). We can also hang a poster inside the hacking room advertising your store to the attendees.
