About the event

WHO: 

            This event is open to all College students in the Greensboro community (Max. Capacity 150 students).

WHAT: 

            This event will be a weekend full of problem solving and innovative ideas. There will be one civic problem to solve with a prize for the team that presents the best solution.The problem will come from the City of Greensboro and they will choose if they would   like to implement the winning idea.

WHY: 

            Many businesses are always looking for the next big thing or ways to make themselves more efficient. What better way to find these solutions than an event full of hard working developers, designers, and problem solvers? 

WHERE/ WHEN:

            This event will begin on Friday, September 23rd and end Saturday, September 24th. It will take place at HQ Greensboro in downtown Greensboro, NC. 

Why should you sponsor?

This is our first event, and we would like to bring the community of Greensboro (tech-savvy or not) together to solve a problem for our local Fire Department. We hope to increase awareness and interest in the IS/IT/Computer Science field.
