About the event

Fundraiser disc golf tournament for the University of Tulsa's club disc golf team the Golden Aces. Funds raised by this tournament will go towards installing a permanent basket on University of Tulsa's campus, jersey apparel for incoming student members, and travel for 2020 Collegiate Nationals.
 

Why should you sponsor?

Your support of this event allows us to grow the sport of disc golf by providing incentives to get new players interested and commited. It also gives us the opportuinty to travel to play against other universities around the country which is a big part of the club environment. Our very attainable goal this year is to qualify for the Collegiate National tournament in the spring in Georgia. Travel and lodging at collegiate nationals would be a significant financial investment but one that is very important to us.

August Bont

My name is August Bont and I am the Vice President of the University of Tulsa's disc golf club team the Golden Aces. I am a senior double major in Physics and Exercise Sports Science. I have been playing disc golf for over a year now and it is one of the biggest passions of my life. My goal is to grow the club team to as big as I can and bring new people into the sport so they can share in the joy I derive from it. This fundraising tournament is an important step to growing the club to reach it's full potential.
