About the event
Every year for the past 30 years academic, public, school and special library librarians converge at the Annual Conference. It's THE library event of the year in Florida. It's highly anticipated, well planned and attended by about 500 - 600 librarians. Librarians love to learn, try new things, collaborate and socialize - and our conference offers opportunities for all of that, and more. Libraries are changing with the times - lending fewer books, but, providing more events, technology and social services. That's why the conferences are so important - we're learning to adapt and stay viable and vital.
Librarians are extremely smart, responsible, kind, creative and giving - leading to a conference atmosphere that is a fusion of excitement, intense communication, sharing of ideas, relaxation and networking.
Sponsors love this event because people love libraries and companies love to have their name linked with an institution that stands for literacy, learning and progressive communities. Sponsorship opportunities at the conference are varied and flexible. Sponsors are enormously appreciated and valued by attendees.
The annual conference attracts between 60 to 80 vendors each year, including architects, publishers, technology companies, scanning companies, library supplies companies, library performers, and authors.
