This is a Father's Day Cookout to celebrate fathers.

Our company is called Present Black Father. This is as of now a clothing brand that was started to show representation of the Black fathers that are present and to change the narrative.
Akeem WashingtonI am a Present Black Father of three beautiful children, and a happily married husband of what will soon be 12 years. I switched roles with my wife when she started working as a travel nurse and I the stay at home parent. It was during these years that showed me what it really meant to not only be a father, but a present father as it is possible to only have one of those aspects at a time. My experience showed me the difference and the importance of being both a father and present. This inspired me to start Present Black Father as a way to motivate dads to be both proud and present in their children's life.
