About the event

The Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough is a non government funded, non profit organization that runs directly on the funds they raise.

The DSP Golf Tournament is one of our most anticipated fundraising events. It is a day of friendly competition that garners recognition and support to our association. The funds recieved from this event help us to offer support, advocacy and programming to our members living with Down Syndrome.

The Event will Take place on Sunday September 24th 1-6 pm at the Quarry Golf Club in Ennismore Ontario. Aside from golfing, there will also be an auction and dinner provided to guests.

Why should you sponsor?

Last year we successfully raised $10,387 with the help of our amazing donations and members within the community.  

The Dreams Golf Tournament is one of our largest fundraising events as the Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough relies heavily on the generosity of corporate, private and special events donations to enhance our supplement our own, Association – operated, fundraisers. These funds support our valuable programs for children, youth, and adults who have Down syndrome, as well as their families.  All money raised from this event goes directly toward providing programming, and support for our families at the Down Syndrome Association of Peterborough.

Opportunities available: 

Tournament CO-Sponsorships:

·      $1,000 

·      Business name and logo placed on Golf t-shirt 

·      A Thank you, and mentions in all advertisements and social media 

Competition Sponsorship:

·      A few fun ideas for sponsorship games would include closest to the pin, longest yard, and a hole-in-one! Gift cards are great and will be used towards hole prizes and a potential gift card tree raffle. 

Auction Item Donation:

·      We are hosting a silent auction after the tournament and are always looking for items to bid on.  

Hole sponsorship:

·      $100 per hole

·      Professionally printed and laminated sign placed at a hole with your business name and logo 

·      Many thanks from us, including mention in all advertising and social media

Players: $130 includes a round of golf, a cart, and dinner.

A long-time supporter of DSP and employee since 2021, stepping into the role of ED in February 2023, Vanessa brings with her passion and purpose to support individuals living with Down Syndrome and the very special people who love, care, or work with them.

Vanessa worked as a CYW and EA long before coming to the DSP, it was in that role where she discovered the joy that supporting individuals with Down Syndrome brought her.  Being Executive Director has only enhanced that joy and passion making her exceptionally proud to be in this vital role for the Association.
