About the event

The rate at which girls drop out of school in Rusinga Island is alarming, reasons being early pregnancies, early marriages and lack of school fees. DBR came up with the initiative to help girls stay in school, create a vision for their future and build leadership skills to help them for a lifetime. However their is need to sensitize more on self awareness and we couln't think of any better initiative than the tournament. This will help nature talents, skills and abilities and at the same time gain physical health and fitness as well as social exposure and adventure. Girls in most cases have been left behind and this tournament will be the first of its kind in the history of Rusinga. Revolution is coming!

Why should you sponsor?

DREAM BELIEVE REPEAT is a young CBO that has operated for 2 years. Funding our activities has been an uphill task since we do not have any potential donors to support the program. However, the much we do during our workshops has got great impact and there has been reduced statistics of school drop outs. The positive feedback we get from the girls and the community is the motivating factor to make us do even more, to continue helping these girls to live purposeful lives and achieve the future aspirations. My name is Farida Abdul, the adminisrator at Dream Believe Repeat Organization. I am pleased to having reached this forum and with so much hope, wish to get a sponsor for our event. l am an honest and trustworthy person who appreciates accountability and credibility. It is my passion to see everything i set my mind to do, to come to a fruitful success, i'm goal oriented and intrinsically motivated owing to the fact that i work directly with girls and in a way building the community as well.
