About the event
Creative Promotions & Events (CPE) is a new professional organization that promotes events and fundraisers in collaboration with nonprofit organizations. CPE was created by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals that would like to give everyone an opportunity to have a brighter future.
On August 20, 2015 CPE and GLAD (a non-profit organization that legally advocates for the LGBT community) are hosting our 1st annual fundraiser that will feature transgender entertainers. The event will give them an opportunity to express themselves in a free and impartial environment. This event will take place in Provincetown, Massachusetts at the Town Hall directly after the city’s annual parade, we will also participate during family carnival week.
This event will host tens of thousands of people “One of the largest outdoor celebrations in Massachusetts and recently named Best Festival on Cape Cod 2013, attracts around 90,000.” (http://ptown.org/carnival/, 2015)
