The Creative Talent Workshop and Expo (CTWE) is a groundbreaking initiative aimed at addressing the challenges faced by local artists in showcasing their talents, navigating the competitive creative industry, and gaining exposure on both local and global scales. Our project stems from the recognition that many talented individuals lack the means to exhibit their works, face obstacles in accessing opportunities, and often lack the necessary support to thrive in the creative sector.

Inspired by a young girl's captivating dance performance during a community event, the CTWE project seeks to create a flexible, scalable, and interactive platform that not only provides artists with a stage to display their works but also nurtures their talents and facilitates connections with industry professionals.

By bridging the gap between artists and the wider audience, CTWE aims to unearth hidden talents, celebrate cultural diversity, and contribute to the enrichment of our local and global creative landscape.

The project focuses on four key Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): Quality Education, Decent Work and Economic Growth, Reduced Inequality, and Partnerships for the Goals. Through workshops, exhibitions, and networking opportunities, CTWE aims to empower artists, provide educational resources, foster economic opportunities, and establish sustainable partnerships within the creative community.

Usman Usman

Usman, Usman is British Council Creative Ambassador, a passionate Artist with about ten years of experience in Project Coordination and Art Exhibition. Having received the Director General's Award of Art and Scholarship he became the representative of Gombe State University in Nigerian Universities Arts Exhibition (NUXART) Lagos. His experience allowed him to be a coordinator for the Naija@60 Arts Exhibition, Jewel Arts and Cultural Exhibition and Northern Entertainment Week Art Exhibition. Usman is a proud founder of CTWE and recently Awarded Arewa Star of the year-2022 by the prominent Patriotic Nigeria Magazine.
