Why should you sponsor?

This event holds deeply personal meaning to me. Jordyn was not only a teammate on my college soccer team, but also a close friend. We tragically lost her to suicide, and in her honor, we are committed to making a difference in the lives of others and making sure more people know that help is always available.
The Jordyn Clark Foundation was created to spread the message that there is always hope and always help. Through our work, we provide mental health trainings in partnership with the U.S. Center for Mental Health and Sport while also spreading awareness around suicide prevention. We support athletes and soccer programs through our goalie glove giveback program, Clarky’s Catch, providing high-quality goalkeeper gloves to those who may not otherwise have access. And we also recognize individuals who embody positivity and resilience through our annual soccer scholarship, The Sunshine Award.
On Monday, July 20th, 2026, we will host our first-ever golf tournament at the private Mendakota Country Club, bringing together golfers for a meaningful day of community, connection, and impact. Registration includes lunch and dinner, and we are excited to grow this event into an annual tradition. Along with our annual 5K and 1 Mile Race to end suicide, this is one of our largest fundraising events of the year and plays a vital role in funding our programs and outreach efforts.

Jordyn Clark Foundation, a Minnesota non-profit corporation, was created to honor Jordyn Clark, a compassionate and affectionate individual who was enthusiastic about soccer, goalkeeping, coaching, and spreading kindness to all. Through our efforts, we aim to raise awareness about suicide prevention and break down the barriers surrounding mental health and well-being. Her spirit will always live on in our hearts, and we hope you will join us in our mission to make a positive impact on the lives of others
