About the event
This concert will celebrate Chyenne Massey & Du Praize's 5 years of ministry. The concert is also celebrating those who inspired me to start my choir, including Dr. Ricky Dillard, world-renowned "Choirmaster". A portion of the proceeds from this concert will be donated to the Fairfield High Preparatory School Fine Arts Department in Fairfield, AL.
Why should you sponsor?
I strive to spread joy through music. My first single, "He Gives Me Joy", is one of my first attempts. So much is going on in the world. Music can be therapeutic in ways. There's a song for every situation that can uplift people who feel down. This concert is my attempt to do something for my city.
Chyenne MasseyMy name is Chyenne Massey. I am a singer, songwriter, and music producer. I am also the choir director and founder of Du Praize. Gospel music is a huge part of my life. I grew up in church. I was born into a musical family. Choirs have a special place in my heart. My main inspiration for my love of choirs is Dr. Ricky Dillard. In 2019, I had the pleasure to sing background for him. I started Du Praize that same year. I was able to perform with the choir for the first, and unfortunately, the only time in February of 2020. We had other events lined up but the pandemic canceled everything. Our slow return started with the single, "He Gives Me Joy" and upcoming single, "The Love Medley". This concert could help us get back to doing what we do best, spreading joy through music.
