Hello!

I am looking for a sponsor to help me bring Chris Irwin, a nationally known horse trainer, to my little town of Petersham, MA.  I paid the deposit for him but riders are hesitant to commit to the high cost. Cris has changed the way I interact with my horses and I know he will be a huge benefit to NEECA, our local horse organization. 

For those that may not know Chris, I had the privilege of being able to work with him in two of his classes at the Equine Affaire last year.  I had no idea what he was about when I signed up, but those 2 classes and his book have completely transformed the way I interact with my horses.  I was so impressed that I asked NEECA to bring him to the area for a clinic because I really think his training techniques and the way he works with horses could benefit so many people.

With that being said, the clinic I am looking to hold is on the higher side because he is from Canada and I need to get him down here!  For the two-day clinic, it is $400 which is fairly high for the horse community I am in.   I will put in solid effort to get this clinic as low as possible on the price but I desperately need sponsors to help the 12 riders needed. I paid the $1000 deposit for him already so now I am looking for help to bring in the 12 riders needed to make this even happen. Chris is an amazing trainer and this will be a wonderful event for our area.  He will also be advertising on the local radio station and I sent him media avenues to place announcements in.  I also have a flyer he created which I will be sharing around.  I have posted on FB and told everyone I know in the horse worls.  The cost is the issue though. "Chris Irwin, an internationally-renowned equestrian coach and trainer who is known for using “horseplay,” a non-resistance method of handling and training horses. Horse and Rider magazine described Chris as being "More horse than human" in regards to his ability to understand and teach the connection between horse and human behavior. He is the author of several books including Horses Don’t Lie and Dancing With Your Horse and the producer of an instructional DVD series. He has coached throughout North America for more than 20 years, and his students have gone on to receive 18 U.S. National Championships in both riding and driving events. This is a 2-day clinic, Aug 20-21st in Petersham, MA, stabling is available and the charge is $400.

Again, I am looking for 12 committed participants but I really need the sponsorship because that is what is preventing people from registering.  I participated in two of Chris's clinics at the Equine Affaire in 2015 and it completely changed the interaction I have with my horses.
