About the event

Chicago Violin Competition (CVC) is an international violin competition. The competition provides a platform for promising young talent and experienced violinists to exhibit their artistry on a world stage. Participants come together to grow in knowledge, skill and confidence. CVC is produced and organized by the American Music Institute (AMI). The competition has two divisions, Young Adult 7-17 years old, and Senior Artist 18-28 years old.

* Virtuoso- $10,000- $15,000
* Stradivarius- $15,000+

* Insipire - $10,000 - 10 contestants 
* Hope - $15,000 - 16 contestants
* Victory - $20,000 - 22 contestants

Since 2010, Chicago Violin Competition (CVC) has been a staple violin competition across the globe.The competition reaches about 200 contestants from more than 30 countries.  CVC has been featured on The Strad and The Violin Channel.
