About the event

On Saturday 8th October KML Events UK Ltd and Celebration of Life Events are hosting a Celebration dinner and fundraising evening at the Conrad St. James, 22-28 Broadway, London SW1. The event will be attended by celebrities from the entertainment and sports world. This is a non-profit making event and after costs are covered, all proceeds will go towards the charities.

At the event we will be celebrating the lives of people who have gone but have left a footprint on the lives of our guests and of others who have survived a traumatic experience, such as a life threatening condition or serious injury. Guests will be invited to purchase tables for 10 which will be named after the person whose life they are celebrating, in addition to individual tickets.

During the evening we will also be raising awareness of and fundraising for Orchid (a male cancer charity) and Carers UK. Orchid exists to save men's lives from testicular, prostate and penile cancers and enjoy a better quality of life through pioneering research and promoting awareness. Carers UK are the UK's only national membership charity for carers, and is both a support network and a movement for change.

It is our aim to host a truly enjoyable evening where people will have fun remembering those they have loved and lost or rejoice that someone they thought they would lose has recovered. It is also an opportunity for us to bring people together creating the prospect of raising much needed funds whilst raising awareness and addressing the issues surrounding male cancers and the millions of unpaid carers.We hope to raise or have pledges of £10k+ for each charity on the night.

Why should you sponsor?

Sponsoring our event is a great opportunity for you. Being our official event partner gives you a lot of media attention as we will advertise your sponsorship on event marketing materials, social media and live coverage. We do hope to use one of our media partners to promote and thank you for your sponsorship.

Sponsor a table for £2,500 and have six complimentary places plus advertising of the company logo on pressboards, logo and hyperlink on promotional event websites, logo on video wall during dinner, mentions on all social media, inclusion of marketing material in goody bags and a selection of photos from the event.

We hope that you will want to be involved in this fun evening in support of two good causes and help us to raise awareness of cancers that affects 1 in 8 men in the UK and of the 6.5 million people whose lives have changed because they care for loved ones who are seriously ill or disabled.

FELICIA HODGE – CELEBRATION OF LIFE EVENTS

We all have someone past or present who have touched our lives in a way that we would wish to celebrate having known them. We may even have had an illness or trauma ourselves and wish to celebrate just being alive.

Celebration of Life goes hand in hand with fund-raising for Orchid and Carers UK, as it brings together two charities who strive to improve our quality of life.

Felicia’s background is in commerce and finance. She ran a portfolio of commercial and high net worth clients at HSBC. Recently, she has contracted as a Project Coordinator or PA to directors at companies such as TfL, Heathrow Express, IFRS and Unilever in addition to auditing and investigative work for government bodies. She also organises social events and often volunteers her services to local Not for Profit organisations.

Her previous role was Director of Events at the Connaught Hotel, Mayfair where, she achieved a Catey’s Award for “Best Banqueting and Events team in UK 2012”.
