Brit Street Records is excited to present Underground Rising, a music showcase aimed at revamping the Austin music scene, which has seen a decline in audience attendance post-COVID. This event will feature eight bands spanning rock, alternative, punk, and new wave genres. In addition to the live performances, we will host a vendor market provided by Austin Artisan Market, offering a unique blend of local crafts and goods. Our goal is to create larger shows that build audiences, helping emerging bands gain visibility and network with other musicians. Tickets for the event are priced at an affordable $10, making it accessible to a wide range of music lovers. This showcase is a community-building event that brings together music lovers, artists, and local vendors to celebrate and support the vibrant culture of Austin.

I am a Radiology Manager, a musician, and the CEO of Brit Street Records. I created Brit Street Records to help emerging bands gain visibility and build their audiences. Having lived in Austin all my life, I vividly remember the days when we truly lived up to being the Live Music Capital of the World. However, since COVID, we have fallen short of that title. My mission is to revitalize the local music scene by creating shows that encourage people to visit local clubs, even if they are unfamiliar with the bands. Through these efforts, I aim to support the growth and prosperity of Austin's music community.
