About the event
Ladies & Gentlemen,
We are writing to seek your support of a donation for our upcoming Bon Voyage Wish Event to be held on Thursday, May 31st, 2018 at the Centurion Conference & Event Centre.
The Bon Voyage event will be a multi-cultural extravaganza featuring music, dancers, dinner, silent auction, and other fundraising initiatives. These wish events are requirements of Algonquin College’s Event Management Graduate Program, which has to date, raised $1 million for the National Capital Region’s Children’s Wish Foundation who grant wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
Your donation to this great cause will make a difference in the life of a child and his/her family. Any donation that you can provide will be greatly appreciated and will be acknowledged on the Bon Voyage website and in our promotional material, including the evening’s program.
The $1 million accomplishment was made possible by the generosity of individuals and businesses in the Ottawa community, like you. This year, 20% of proceeds from wish events will also be donated to another local non-profit organization.
Did we mention that we are creating these events on a zero budget?

Why should you sponsor?
Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, our recipient Charity for our Bon Voyage Event, grant wishes to Canadian children aged between 3 and 17 years old who are diagnosed with life threatening illness.
To date, these wish events of the Algonquin College’s Event Management Graduate Program, raised over $1 million, and each wish costs the charity an average of $10K.
For this reason, your support will make a great impact on a child and his/her family!
Bon VoyageWe are 7 ambitious, ethnically diverse Event Management Students at the Algonquin College - Ottawa, ON, Canada's capital; whom main goal is to plan and execute a fundraising event on a ZERO $ budget that will benefit the Children's Wish Foundation of Canada.
