About the event

This event gives adults the chance to learn and enjoy nature the best way we know how, with a local brew in their hand! Breweries, wineries, and distilleries will provide samples while guests can learn and interact with our ambassador animals and test out their knowledge with some trivia! 

Why should you sponsor?

As a non profit, we rely heavily on events such as this for funding. Much of our year is filled by educating local public school students at no cost. This involves curriculum-based programing for two or four days where students hit school standards while also enjoying hikes, presentations, hands-on field work, and more! Supporting the center, supports the future generations mission to conserve, preserve, and restore local ecosystems.

The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center is a 501c3 environmental education center with a mission to educate local students on the importance of conservation, restoration, and preservation of ecosystems. This is done through curriculum-based programming that can be used before, during, and after their visit to teach school standards. These programs are two or four days, with fourth and seventh-graders from five different counties coming to visit. We are expected to see over 5,000 students this year from over 50 schools. This is done at no cost to the students, to ensure that all public school kids get the opportunity to enjoy our programs, despite economic status.
