Cycling is known for being an expensive sport. Many bikes at the event are over $10,000, and riders are tech/gadget savvy individuals who like to buy the best and latest cycling gear. Aditionally, most riders are affluent individuals who live in tight-knit upper middle class communities.
My name is Ari Kimmelfeld and I'm the Co-Founder of Deviation Gear. I fell in love with cycling when in 2017 I signed up for a charity cycling ride across America to help raise money for children with special needs. I knew little about cycling when I started my training, yet my enthusiasm for the ride led me down a long shopping rabbit hole on Amazon buying all the gear I could find that would help me complete this six week long trek from California to New Jersey.
However, as I would learn the hard way through headaches, numb fingers and blisters on my hands gear really matters!
After that ride I set out to fix some of the broken cycling gear on the market. Our team at Deviation Gear is product focused and is not afraid to deviate from the average market availability to create the best functioning and stylish cycling gear.
After many months of engineering, testing, sampling, and trial and error, we have created the most innovative pair of gloves and cycling cap.
We will be unveiling these products at the Bike4Chai Fundraiser and your brand will have the opportunity to be a part of cycling history.
