About the event

I am writing to you regarding possible sponsorship for our leagues upcoming World Endurance Championship. We are hoping to expand our league and its events putting on a large scale longdistance race format championship, where drivers have to share a car with each other for 6 hours, and one way in which we hope to do this is via sponsorship to allow us to improve our prizes so in addition to the best racing online we also have the best awards, which will attract more divers to get involved as well as more people interested in watching the events, which in turn would help attract more backing and provide even greater awards, and help the project snowball. All of our ednurance events will be live broadcast on youtube (conservative estimated live viewing numbers - 800-1500. conservative estimated archive viewing numbers after 12 months 4000-6000)

We have a variety of sponsorship options available which we are offering

Associated league sponser - £100 per year - In return your company will have its logo and a link to your homepage on the bottom of every page on the ASRC website http://www.asrconline.com/, any posts made by your company on facebook will be shared by the asrc facebook page, and a mention at the beggining and end of any youtube Live broadcasts/videos/highlights posted by the ASRC

1 Race/Championship Round Event Sponser - £200 per event (allowing us to provide larger prizes across all classes taking part) - In return your company will have naming rights to that event, along with your company logo and a link to your homepage on the bottom of every page on the ASRC website http://www.asrconline.com/, Your Company logo,web address and any other info you wish on all promtional emails/adverts for the event, any posts made by your company on facebook will be shared by the asrc facebook page, a mention at the begining and end of any youtube videos/highlights posted by the ASRC, and mentioned exstensivley on our website & facebook news review of that event, with a link to your website. Company metioned a minimum once per hour during transmition and before and after every transmition brake showing your company logo/web address during the live broadcast (all broadcast events will be perminatly archived for viewing after the event has finished

Why should you sponsor?

We are looking to use this event to build a strong competitor/fan/viewer base with this years championship in hope that the 2017 events take things a step further and broadcast our viewings on internation tv. Currently motors tv (available on free view across europe) show 2 live iracing championships and we want to join them by having our events shown aswell.

As it stands the events running costs (server rental/teamspeak comunication softwear rental and broadcasting fees) are covered by the competitors race entry fees, the money we are searching for from yourselves is purely to cover prize money so we can offer cash rewards to the podium finishers in each class in each race and the championship, along with an additonal prize for the overall championship finishers. (all classes championship points added together at the end of the year)

By offering a prize purse we will be able to attract more/higher profile entrys into the series (we currently have a team with 3 profesional racing drivers expressing interest in driving if we can garuntee them that we can put atleast 30 cars on the grid per event) which will further increase interest/numbers in not only the viewers of the broadcasts but in competitors wishing to enter in future events.

My name is Michael Blake, Director of Competition for the Associated Sim Racing Club (ASRC) http://www.asrconline.com/
We are an online sim racing league using the iracing platform.  We are looking host a variety of online sports car, formula1, touring and stock car races in 2016 with series set in varying time zones to improve access for members from all around the world (most online leagues only offer specific time zone events limiting there outreach drasticley, and as we grow we will be looking to live stream some evnts and possibly release monthly highlight packages re-capping all our major events on youtube

 

Sim racing is fast becoming one of the largest types of gaming in the world, as technology advances it becomes ever more realistic. As such a large majority of real world racing drives often use sim racing for practice and even learning things such as a new track from scratch ! i whole heartedly believe that sim racing WILL become a fully reconised and profesional sport in the next 5-10 years and contribute massivley to grass roots and entry level real world motor sport, and iracing is the most advanced of them all.

 

We at the ASRC want to provide the most realistic sim in the world with the most realistic and exciting racing league in existence. As iracing provides its service open to the public not everyone in a particular race is all that serious about what they are doing it can sometimes despite iracings best efforts cause havoc filled races that are not really that great for anyone, especially the people that like to take things seriously and race as best as they can. That is why private league racing is becoming ever more popular, and we believe we can use this increasing interest of racing in a more organized environment with vetted drivers and live stewards to take things to the next level and hopefully make it to a stage where with the right exposure and backing some of our members could reach a semi profesional level. Using our passion, determination and our collective experience (over 27 years) of hosting online racing and tournaments, plus some small scale financial backing we are confident we can achieve this goal.
