About the event

I am busy planning a 5 year Journey which I am calling ""Around Africa, On Foot, Along the Shoreline."

On this Journey I propose to walk around the entire Coastline of Africa, Starting from my Home-town of Margate in KwaZulu Natal. 

My family will be part of the Back-up crew that will be supporting me along the way by following by vehicles along the closest coastal roads.

I plan to make the whole journey as "Interactive" for people who can follow my journey live via the Internet, with Live "Go-pro" camera footage from myself and those walking with me. They will be able to contact me, chat with me live, as well as ask questions.

There will be an opportunities for anyone from anywhere in the world to book a slot to walk with me on any part of the journey, for a day or two to a week or two.

Ideally I would like a "Film Crew" to film the journey - as if it were a "Live Reality show" as well, where people can follow my progress as well as the Backup crew`s progress with all the triumphs and struggles.

Integrated into this I will also interview professionals from the Countries that I pass through to give me a background on that country`s History, Economy etc. We will also have a food segment, where we showcase specific foods and dishes from each country, with a local person who prepares the food at the base camps along the way.

In order for me to achieve all this, I need Sponsors and Donors for the Vehicles, Gas, Food and equipment that we are going to need during this 5 year journey.
