About the event

Anwesha, the quest for grandeur, opulence, creativity and perfection, since its inception in 2010 has turned out to be one of east India’s biggest and most awaited youth festivals, witnessing participation from all over the country. The previous editions have been a memorable experience to the crowd, with an escalating footfall every year.

Distinguished luminaries such as the then Chief Minister of Bihar, Sh. Nitish Kumar, Former Chairman of the ISRO, Padma Vibhushan G. Madhavan Nair, Veteran actor and Politician Shri Shatrughan Sinha and “The Dolphin Man of India” Prof. R. K. Sinha have been a part of Anwesha in the past.

Anwesha puts forth an unparalleled multitude of events, meticulously fashioned to suit the interests of computer geeks, gaming freaks, jugadu techies, music and dance maniacs. The cultural delight of the fest, pro-nites, share the glamour of iconic rock bands, serenity of classical art forms and amusement of comedy shows. The previous editions of Anwesha have seen the performances of popular rock bands like Euphoria, Swarathma (by Coke Studio), Faridkot, Sifar, Kaash and The Local Train, also other artists like Ghazal Singer Shri. Nishant Akshar, Bharatanatyam Maestro Smt. Priya Venkataraman, Hindi poet Shri. Kumar Vishwas and stand-up comedian Shri. Nitin Gupta.

Why should you sponsor?

Anwesha attracts youth of all types. We have Technical events that involve rigorous application various engineering skills, management events for the entreprenuer in everyone, cultural and fashion events that make jaws drop and also gaming events! 

We are also conducting Multicity Auditions in Kolkata, Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, Dhanbad and Ranchi! That is, three more cities than last year! A footfall of 10,000 was recorded last year which is known to increase exponentially every year.

We envisage Anwesha'17 to be more spectacular than ever before. The fest is scheduled to be held in the last weekend of January.
