Annual 101 Week,

About the event

101 Week is our University's Annual Welcome week for the first year and incoming students at the University of Ottawa. Our association, the Economics Student Association, is responsible for organizing multiple daily activities and events to welcome the students, giving them an opportunity to network as well as becoming engaged in the community. We have a number of social, academic, and philanthropic events during this time for which we are seeking sponsors, either through coupons or perhaps a monetary sponsor to help us provide these students with the best week possible.

Why should you sponsor?

Moving to university and away from home can be extremely difficult, and we seek to provide a community for students in economics to network and find themselves at home within a new city. Our ability to provide academic, social, and philanthropic events throughout this week is based on the sponsorship we can receive. We understand the importance of accessible and equitable events, making them affordable for students and allowing us to support them in this new chapter of their lives.

We are the Economics Student Association for the University of Ottawa. We are a group, voted upon by the undergraduate economics students at the university - chosen to represent them to the department and faculty. Each year, we are mandated to provide a multitude of social, academic, and philanthropic events for the students at the university in order to integrate them into the community and prove them with the best student experience possible.
