AICE Travel and Tourism Event,

About the event

Through Sarasota High School, we are a part of the Cambridge AICE Program, a collegiate advanced program which allows members of our group to gain the opportunity to tuition-free college. 

In order to gain tuition-free college, each AICE Student must pass 7 AICE exams, as well as other requirements. In our AICE Travel and Tourism class, our final exam is to conduct and execute an event, to which we must cater to customers, as well as fundraise for the event. In our fundraising processs, we are searching for sponsors who are interested in giving money in exchange for an advertisement in our flyer which will be distributed to the customers at our event, as well as distributed around our school. 

Why should you sponsor?

Since we are in the developmental stages of our final exam, we need to gain fundraising for our event. Sponsors will be able to gain attention from locals, as well as support a local school in their mission to provide free college for hard-working students. 

Katie Armstrong

I am Katie Armstrong, an AICE student at Sarasota High School. I am the marketing officer in my group, and am hoping to gain as much traction for our event as possible. 

In my experience as an AICE student, I have worked many positions, including medical staff at the Humane Society, customer service staff at Publix supermarket, as well as many volunteer opportunities. I have catered to the local community by doing over 160 hours of community service, and continue to cater to the community through school organizations. 

In my college application process, as well as my team members in my AICE Travel and Tourism class, we have worked hard for the opportunity to gain affordable education.
