About the event
The Providence Grand Prix is one of only a select amount of AAU licensed Grand Prix events in the country. Girls and Boys teams of between the ages of 12-18u will participate. Our 6th annual event on February 16-18, 2019 will again be hosted under one roof at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence, RI.
Our event is organzied by experienced volleyball professionals, including the tournament director of the AAU National Championships which welcomes over 2500 teams from around the globe each summer. The winners of the AAU Providence Grand Prix earn a paid bid to those same AAU National Championships in Orlando, Florida.
Why should you sponsor?
Sponsors of the AAU Providence Grand Prix will receive on-site and digital marketing to reach the teams and their families. With all matches hosted one roof at the RI Convention Center sponsors will enjoy excellent face to face time with those that attend the event. NEAAU Volleyball is also offering all sponsors online and email marketing before and after the event to ensure maximum exposure to coaches, players, families and fans.
Todd SkovronI have been a member of the AAU of New England since the mid 1990's. While I began my membership as an athlete in my early 20's and have worn many hats for the organization, I am now the Lt. Governor and help oversee the growth of all AAU sports here in New England which is one of the largest AAU Districts in the country. The New England AAU Volleyball program is just in its 6th season, but has quickly established popularity and respect within the volleyball commnunity due to our exciting, professional and well organized events.
AAU Volleyball is the fastest growing sport within our union and our National Championship in June is the largest volleyball event in the world with over 2500 teams participating from around the world. The Providence Grand Prix is organized by the New England and its Volleyball Director, as well as the tournament director our AAU National Championships. Age group winners of the Providence Grand Prix earn a free entry into the National Championship.
