The “Girls Wine Out” experience it is about uniting women from all around in one place for a day of powerful conversations, fitness session, makeovers and wellness tips, fashion makeovers, spa time, cooking classes and authentic connectivity that ignited each woman to take the next step with their lives and put themselves first. This year, our theme of "fierce inside and out" is about women creating connections within themselves and living outstanding lives.
At the 2018 5th Annual Girls Wine Out, over 200 women will:
Learn how to take charge of their lives, put "self" first, and create harmony within.
Connect with other like-minded women who will help to keep each other accountable on the journey towards better lives.
Celebrate the power and passion that women display when they leave the hustle and bustle behind and enjoy experiences.
The 5th Annual Girls Wine Out will also raise funds to support women living with terminal cancer the opportunity to "getaway" in hopes to uplift their spirits and give them a chance to focus on positive aspects of life.
The 5th Annual Girls Wine Out event attracts influential affluent multicultural women all over the world. In the 2nd year, we had over 4 million social media impressions with the continued support of Grammy award-winning artist Kandi Burruss and in the 4th year alongside with award-winning actress/producer Terri J. Vaughn, our audience has tripled.
This is a great opportunity to authentically connect with affluent multicultural influencers and tastemakers. We look forward to introducing you to this audience and turning that relationship into new business for your brand.
The event will also benefit and empower women fighting terminal (stage 4) cancers by helping them to “getaway” in order to hopefully uplift their spirits and see the positives of life.
In 2013, after having a baby and experiencing the challenges of
balancing life activities such as self care, motherhood, marriage, and
career, founder Tekeya Priester decided to “getaway” with a group of
friends on an overnight retreat at a local winery and spa.
Not knowing so many other women faced the same challenges,
simple “girl talk” became life changing “therapy” and motivation to
live the life desired. The refreshing combination of going
somewhere new, learning something new, sharing advice/
experiences, and relaxing in tranquil environment allowed for a
renewed view on life, which became the beginnings for Not Just a
Getaway (NJAG).
