On April 30th and May 1st, Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens is proud to be hosting the 2nd Annual Spring festival to celebrate springtime, as well as the establishment of this amazing non-profit organization. Vendors are being invited to sell plants, food, arts & crafts, and more! There will also be live music throughout the day on both days. Admission to the gardens will be discounted. The gardens welcomed approximately 1,900 people to the Grand Opening in 2015 and a greater success is anticipated for this year. The more people who learn about these precious gardens, the more these gardens will grow!
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit botanical garden, the operations of Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens are currently funded solely on donations, admission charges, and the financial contributions of the creator, Dr. Ray Webber. In order to expand and mantain what has been created, develop education programs for children and adults, and improve as an organization, sponsorships and donations are necessary and deeply appreciated. We will be glad to demonstrate our sincere appreciation of your support through promoting your company at the gardens, as well as on our website. Thank you for your consideration.
Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens is a new 501(c)(3) non-profit botanical garden, featuring over 50 unique garden displays, several beautiful koi ponds, and amazing waterfalls. The gardens provide homes to a number of resident rescued companion animals, as well as many different species of wildlife. Guests can enjoy walking through 20 acres of botanical garden trails, picnicking at one of the tables, benches, or pavilions, and sharing unforgettable outdoor memories with family and friends.
The creation of Cedar Lakes Woods & Gardens began in the early 1990's as a result of one man's dream to create a naturistic paradise from a 100 year old retired lime rock quarry. CLWG is currently made up of the combination of thousands of plants collected and nurtured throughout the 22 years of the garden’s creation, endless hours of laborious passion for creativity, and a beautiful location for families, friends, and individuals to come enjoy what we have established.
Being open to the public for almost two years, we are starting to organize environmental education program, formalized tours for visitors, and more frequent events. The gardens continue to grow each day!
