About the event

Each year, Harriton High School Student Council works with a talented group of students to put on a captivating production that engages and gives back to the Lower Merion community. Hosted in early march, this well-renowned, school-wide charity talent show is called Dr. Harriton. The event features 10 student contestants who perform dances, talents, and other exciting acts in hopes of being crowned as the next Dr. Harriton. Dr. Harriton is the biggest event at our school, with over 1,000 attendees every year. Last year’s show was a success, raising over $60,000 for charity. We are hoping to continue this trend for Dr. Harriton 2025, our 18th annual show.

Why should you sponsor?

Each year, our Student Council puts on an annual charity talent show titled Dr. Harriton. This year, the event is scheduled for February 21st at 6 PM. The event features 10 student contestants performing dances, talents, and other exciting acts in hopes of being crowned the next Dr. Harriton. Dr. Harriton is the biggest event at our school, with over 1,000 attendees every year. Each year the show is a tremendous success, on average raising over $50,000 for charity. We are hoping to continue this trend for Dr. Harriton 2025, our 18th annual show, directing proceeds from the event towards two local nonprofits: The Lower Merion Scholarship Fund and the Jerseys4Kids Foundation. The Lower Merion Township Scholarship Fund aims to make education more financially accessible to students in our own community. The Jersey4Kids Foundation supports children battling cancer by providing them with autographed jerseys from their favorite athletes and teams while raising funds for research of rare pediatric cancers. This year's show is particularly significant due to the heartbreaking passing of Massi Agosti, a Harriton student and the founder of Jerseys4Kids. Despite going through his own battle with osteosarcoma, he valiantly turned outward to brighten the lives of countless children facing similar struggles. The show will be dedicated to his memory.

As a contestant sponsor, your business will gain recognition from the 1,000+ viewers who see Dr. Harriton each year. Your business will be on the back of my shirt during the show, be announced every time my name is announced, be digitally projected during intermission and prior to the show, and be on the List of Contributors in the program. Additionally, the contestant sponsorship package will include free tickets and a link to watch the live stream of the show. You will also receive 20 tickets to use in the show raffles.

Autumn Gordon

My name is Autumn, and I am an IB senior at Harriton High School in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. I am more than elated to be part of our exciting fundraising show, Dr. Harriton, and offer for others to be part of it! As a student of color and the student director of our school's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging committee, I had tediously worked with my school's staff and the student council to diversify our show and break its traditional gender and color lines, to represent the greater Harriton community. I hope to not solely demonstrate my gifts to the school community, but also advocate for and encourage change, social justice, and representation through my presence in the show. 

My role in the show is not merely to captivate students with a talent and showcase diversity, but also to give back to the school community. Last year, my school established an organization called Jerseys4Kids, devoted to raising funds for osteosarcoma research in honor of Harriton student Massimo Agosti, who passed away last year from osteosarcoma. Much of our funds will go toward the organization.

Funds also will go towards the Lower Merion Township Fund, rewarding 4.6 thousand students in the Lower Merion School District with scholarships to pursue their post-secondary passions. Last year, the show raised over $60,000 and we hope to keep building upon our fundraising achievements annually!
