About the event
The Dance Team Union National Championship brings together high school and college competitive dance teams from across the country to learn, share ideas, and compete for the best prize package in the dance team industry. Our national champions take home trophies, cash prizes, national champion rings and jackets (sponsored by our Official Uniform Partner, Rebel Athletic). Teams also compete for "The Rebel Award," up to $12,000 in free custom couture uniforms from Rebel Athletic, presented to the boldest and most innovative team at the National Championship.
Dance Team Union's competitions encourage young dancers to be brave and confident, to not be afraid to be different, and to work hard as a team and push their limits. We provide the best feedback in the industry to each team, as we strive to be a partner with every team in their development from year to year.

Why should you sponsor?
Dance Team Union encourages young dancers and their teams to be fearless, bold and confident. DTU's dance teams are risk-takers who like to try new things and are not tied to tradition - a perfect match for companies looking to promote new products or gain competitive advantage over brands in their space that have a longer history or a wider reach.
Our National Championship will feature more than 1,000 dancers, most of them between the ages of 13 and 22, and approximately 3,000 spectators and supporters from all over the country who will come to support them. By the competition's very nature, your brand will be highly visible, as teams and spectators will spend long hours in our competition venue, watching other teams perform or browsing our vendor marketplace!
We are the most exciting and fastest growing challenger brand in the competitive dance team space, we have great momentum after our first season and a great partnership with a successful challenger brand in the cheer and dance uniform industry, and we expect continued growth and increased visibility during the 2017-18 season!
Coree SmithDance Team Union was founded by four dance team industry veterans, all of whom have received significant recognition over the past 20 years. We represent different areas of the country - California, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland - and bring different types of business expertise to our operations in addition to substantial contacts within the industry. Our majority owner owns a successful dance studio competition business, two other owners have law degrees, and the fourth is a professional dancer.
With our founders' already-established credibility in the dance team industry, we attracted a majority of the top dance teams in the country to our competitions in our very first year, and we are on track to double the number of teams who join the Dance Team Union in 2017-18.
