2016 Miss San Antonio Scholarship Pageant,

About the event

This community event will provide an opportunity for young women to compete to represent San Antonio in the Miss Texas Scholarship Pageant and move on to represent Texas in the Miss America Scholarship Pageant. Four young women will receive scholarships and hold the title of 2016 Miss San Antonio, Miss Alamo City, Miss San Antonio Outstanding Teen or Miss Alamo City Outstanding Teen. The donations raised will be used to pay for contestant’s crown, sashes, cash scholarships and production expenses.  

It is the mission of the Miss San Antonio / Miss Alamo City Scholarship Organization to increase the frequency and scope of Miss San Antonio's and Miss Alamo City's issue-oriented appearances and to ensure that her personal platform is communicated throughout communities and school systems she visits during the year.

Promoting higher education by providing scholarships to our contestants.

Offer training and sponsorship contributions to the Titleholders in order to provide professional growth and strengthen the potential for attaining individual goals.

Promote the Titleholders' personal platforms (critical issue).

Promote the City of San Antonio and its tourism industry by working hand-in-hand with the San Antonio Fiesta Commission and City and County Governmental Offices.

Align with numerous philanthropic organizations that support year-round community involvement.
