The 2016 Helicopter Egg Drop is an annual event hosted by City Church of New Orleans since 2012. Last year we grew to our largest crowd ever with over 5,000 people from New Orleans, Jefferson and St. Tammany Parishes which also had WDSU channel 6 news coverage. Because of local sponsors like you, this year we are expecting to increase our egg count to 50,000 candy filled eggs! The purpose of this event is to provide the community with a family environment that is safe and a fun way to spend time together at no cost. The event will have two helicopters fly over and drop eggs for all children ages 3-18, which will be divided into four different age groups.
