About the event

The international conference series on Intelligent Human Computer Interaction (IHCI) is forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results at the crossroads of human-computer interaction, artificial intelligence, signal processing and computer vision. They bring together engineers and scientists from around the world.

The 10th International Conference on Intelligent Human Computer Interaction (IHCI 2018) focuses its main theme on Cognitive Computing and Human Computer Interactions. 

The annual conference is held globally. Proceedings are published by major scientific editors. This year the proceeding will be published in Lecture Notes on Computer Science (LNCS), Springer.

Theoretical, practical and application-oriented contributions are invited. Topics of interest include Human Cognition Modeling, Brain Computer Interfaces, Tactile interfaces, Human-Robot Interaction and collaboration, User adaptation and Personalization, Machine Perception of Humans and Applications

Keynote Speakers are Prof. Ron Sun, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and Prof. Mriganka Sur, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Punit Singh

Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIIT-Allahabad) is a public university located in Allahabad, in Uttar Pradesh state in northern India. It is one of the nineteen Indian Institutes of Information Technology listed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

The institution was founded in 1999, and in the following year received university status and the right to award its own degrees. In 2014 the IIIT Act was passed, under which IIITA and four other Institutes of Information Technology funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development were classed as Institutes of National Importance.

The first director of the institute was M.D. Tiwari, from 1999 to 2013. G.C. Nandi served as director in-charge on the first four months of 2014, until Somenath Biswas took over the directorship and served from May 2014 to July 2016. After another stint by Nandi as director (Offg) that lasted until May 2017, P. Nagabhushan was appointed director.

IIIT-Allahabad was ranked 226 in Asia by the QS World University Rankings of 2018. Among engineering colleges in India, IIIT-Allahabad ranked 11th by India Today in 2017 and 12 by Outlook India in 2017. It was ranked 90 among engineering colleges by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in 2018.

The First Edition of Internation Conference on Intelligent Human Computer Interaction was organized in IIIT Allahabad in January 2009 and since then the conference is annualy in Indian and Internationally. Previous IHCI Conference are as listed below.
