    The WYA Birthday Gala is an annual gathering of WYA members, donors, and friends in New York City that celebrates WYA's birthday and successes in promoting the dignity of the person through advocacy, education, and culture. Every year, WYA presents the Kathryn Hoomkwap Award to a WYA member to recognize their distinguished service in defense of the dignity of the human person. Event attendees from around the world include university student leaders and young professionals working in the fields of finance, law, human rights, health, education, economics, public relations, and development.

     

     

    Why should you sponsor?

    WYA has a global reach of over 1 million members in 160 countries. Active members participate in advocacy, education, and cultural projects at the regional and international level. Through sponsors’ support, they are able to support WYA's global work enabling WYA to strengthen mission of promoting the dignity of the person and building solidarity among young people from developed and developing countries. Sponsors will gain offline and online reach before, during, and after the event.


    World Youth Alliance

    World Youth Alliance is a global coalition of young people committed to promoting the dignity of the human person and building solidarity between youth from developed and developing nations. We train young people to work at the local, regional, and international levels to impact policy and culture.

     

    WYA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It has been accredited with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) as a non-governmental organization since 2004. WYA maintains regional offices in Kenya, the Philippines, Belgium, Mexico, Lebanon, and the United States. From these offices, regional staff train, educate, and engage young people between the ages of 10 and 30 years old.

     

    WYA has approximately 200,000 active individual members in over 160 countries around the world and over 1 million members through partner organizations. Active members participate in training programs, internships, conferences, and cultural events. To learn more, you may visit www.wya.net.
