About the event
My name is Kate Marlow. I am an award winning, multi world title holder in competitive dance. I wish to speak with you about sponsorship. With my world champion dance partner, Billy Fajardo, we operate The World Salsa Summit - the world’s largest , most prestigious, and best known international latin competitive dance event, right here in the USA - In Miami, of course. Our next event in the coming months, will be our 7th consecutive year.
More than 20 years ago my dance partner and I joined forces with the aim to become a world dance sensation. We achieved that, and more. Billy Fajado, of course is the dancer about whom the movie Saturday Night Fever was based. Mine was the romantic story of a dancer meeting a rising star, and together becoming world leaders and title holders.
With the Summit event, every year we see attendances in the range of some 2000 competitive participants from over 40 countries, including the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Americas, the Middle East, and practically every corner of the world. All of our attendees are fanatics on life, living, vitality, health, beauty, and of course dance. In addition, our event is streamed live across the world to tens of thousands of dance enthusiasts. Our competition videos on YouTube receive views in the millions, sometimes the tens of millions.
Consider that dancers, more than most, are highly focused on their health and appearance. Products offering or reflecting improvements to appearance are extremely desirable across all dance genres, and represent well the interests of dance professionals and amateurs alike. Those who aspire to dance, as well as those who follow this industry, focus on elements of life, health, and appearance. For this reason we are seeking interest from companies representative of these values, both intrinsically and commercially.
Our 4 day extravaganza encompasses many shows, demonstrations, competitions, and social events. The forthcoming Summit will be hosted at the prestigious Doubletree Miami Airport Hotel & Convention Center, where many of our regular and new vendors will have displays and counters, and from where our sponsors will promote their goods and services.
For our 2019 event from the 8th to 13th January, we are looking to interest new sponsors in a variety of categories; From finals competition, to minor categories. Our focus is to intimately match our sponsors with event categories to ensure a natural fit. This is why we seek to engage non competing brands that are not only well received, but which represent the values and products which we know our attendees and live viewers (as well as our online audience), will find highly appealing.
Sponsorship categories vary to cater to all levels of commitment. From $1,000 to $25,000, as well as primary sponsorship opportunities, all of which can be crafted to specific requests, exposure, and visibility. We have several packages to suggest to committed sponsors. We will also welcome in some cases, limited sponsors who wish to provide gifts or vouchers to enable an affordable entry point - as a means to test their market or demographic appeal. We are committed to working with you to provide a custom tailored experience aimed to maximize your exposure. We are a well established event (our sister summit, the IHSC is in its 20th anniversary year), and we seek to develop relationships for the longer term.
Not only would our dance community see benefits from sponsor products and services, but with their gregarious and outgoing personalities, the present as a wonderful opportunity to act as your backdrop ambassadors Who better than fit, lithe, healthy, active young professional dancers. And with competitive dancers arriving from all over the world, many of whom frequently travel the world for dance, the benefits to all are obvious.
We would like to speak further with you, and to outline in detail how we might derive mutual benefit from an association.
Why should you sponsor?
This event is in its 7th consecutive year, and is already internationally known as the biggest and most prestigious event of it's kind. The sister event (which we also operate), the IHSC, is in its 20th year.
I am John Madric, Director of Operations for Kate Marlow Productions LLC, a newly formed entity specifically representing the artistic interests of Katie Marlow, the world renouned champion dancer.

Katie has been involved in dance all her adult life, has appeared in a number of movies, and has won world champion international awards for her performances with her dance and business partner, Billy Fajardo - the dancer upon whom the movie, "Saturday Night Fever", was based.
Seeking sponsorship for this event is a means by which to add even greater prestige to this already world leading event, to which participation attendees number around 2000, with streaming and online viewers well exceeding these numbers, as our video channel demonstrates.
