Women’s Tackle Football Team,

About the event

This organization is more than just women’s tackle football. It’s about empowering women and giving back to the community especially to those who help women in times where they are victims of domestic and family violence or sexual assault.  We are an outlet for women. This team consists of moms, teachers, and business owners but more importantly athletes. With your help today, we could ensure a stable foundation and get all the equipment and game/field expenses we will be incurring covered throughout the 2018 Season. So many women have stepped forward and found their inner strength thanks to this sport and my coaching staff and I ask that you please help us continue to empower and strengthen women. 

Why should you sponsor?

With each fundraiser we host, we will be giving back to the Comal County Crisis Center and other various shelter and women help centers. It is our biggest goal to see women rise above their circumstances and move forward with their lives in a positive way.

Chelsea Gastring

The Comal Aftershock is a Women’s Tackle Football Team based out of New Braunfels, Tx. Our team consists of moms, teachers, and business owners but more importantly, Athletes. We will be competing in the 2018 season of the IWFA League against 13 other established teams. We are considered the underdog at this point but will use that as our greatest advantage being that our head coach is a former player for a 4x undefeated team in this same league. Through out our season, we will be training hard and giving back to the community even harder. We believe that all women deserve the opportunity to play this sport regardless of what people say and will empower others along the way.
