Women's Day with GirlScript Foundation,

About the event

GirlScript Foundation has decided to celebrate International Women's Day 2021(i.e. 8th March 2021) with a goal to impact 5000+ women in a single day.  It is a global-remote initiative for people worldwide where a series of events will be organized in line with the global theme of #ChooseToChallenge.
GirlScript Foundation deeply resonates with this year's theme and we have ardently worked towards overcoming all kinds of barriers faced by women and beginners in the field of technology.
Whether it was introducing newbies to open source or making education accessible even in the difficult times of Covid, GirlScript has overcome every challenge by starting various programs like GirlScript Summer of Code, Education Outreach, etc which have impacted thousands of students.

With similar goals, we aim to organize 100+ workshops simultaneously to teach web development and WordPress, along with an Online Human Library project. Besides this, we also plan to felicitate some of the most amazing people who have worked for the welfare of women around them.

Since its inception, we are globally recognized and have impacted more than 1,00,000 learners through our different online & offline programs related to tech education and employability skills.

We reserve 50% of seats for women & LGBTQ in all of our programs to promote diversity.
