About the event
The Woman In Action Conference (WIACON) is the nation’s first multi-generational women’s conference. WIACON2019 is a transformative full-day conference experience with empowered main stage presentations, breakout training sessions and interaction panels discussions. This year’s experience will be unlike any other. On Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Black Canyon Conference Center (Phoenix, AZ), WIACON2019 will host 250 women including entrepreneurs, managers, corporate leaders, and formerly incarcerated women and girls. The vision of WIACON2019 is to foster personal and professional development, promote behavioral health and establish mutually beneficial relationships. Topics will center on self-investment, professional mentorship, financial liberation, collaborative accountability, levels to entrepreneurship and much more.
We are excited to open The Action Center where WIACON2019 attendees will have the opportunity to met with seasoned Service-Based business owners, financial advisors, mental health professionals and other corporate leaders in a 1:1 and small group settings. The individuals will serve as mentors, advisors, and advocates for attendees seeking to learn about, address, and work through fundamentals of finances, business and life pivots, mental health, skill-based training and development, and much more. We are honored welcome and learn from representatives of the City of Phoenix, Maricopa Community Colleges, Yelp, and more.

A. Margot BriskyVisionairy, A. Margot Brisky, believes that generational gaps are meant to be bridged. In her first 14 years of life, A. Margot Brisky was adopted, experienced several forms of abandonment, sexual assault, served 32 days in juvenile detention, became dependent on substance misuse, was promiscuous, was failing as a high school freshman, and much more. Choosing to no longer be defined by her circumstances, she chose to become who she needed and started college at 17. A. Margot Brisky graduated Summa cum Laude at the age of 19 and began her professional journey as a Master’s student and University Professor. Over the last 9 years, she has studied the philosophies of social psychology and recently resigned from her EdD program to focus on making significant impacts through her company and nonprofit, including launching the Woman In Action Conference.
