About the event

Both the artist and the business entrepreneurs share a desire and focus fostered by the passion of the entertainment industry.The goal is to make the artist and entrepreneur one. What a much needed privilege it will be for aspiring artists and entrepreneurs to have the ability to hear and meet their influences in an intimate setting purely based on ‘the business’.

We Run L.A. is an eccentrically exquisite event showcasing who runs LA. The event as a whole is a brunch inside of an afrocentric art gallery pop up experience. This exhibit will honor leadership, innovation, and creativity throughout the black community. Honorees will be heroes and figures from the East and West Coasts of the United States showing that black excellence should not exist in a bubble of its own, but should be used as a force to bring people together.

The Come Up 2020 is a networking experience that allows artists and entrepreneurs in the Music, Fashion, Film, Art, and Dance industry to see and hear how some of the industry’s heavy hitters have made it. “How they came up and you can come up too!” The panel will discuss relevant factors of how social media can impact their brand, trials and tribulations, do’s and don’ts, as well as answer relevant questions. The event will be held over a 17 hour time frame per location, with a combination of lounges, live musical performances, TED-style  informative talks, food, exhibits, special screenings and official after party.

This is a time where the cultural influencer, the creator, and the entrepreneur is quickly merging to become the one singlular person.  No longer are the days where consumers have to find, vet and trust multiple sources to make a decision on what to buy, listen or wear. It has now become increasingly important for companies and corporations to understand, collaborate and partner up with the creator to form long lasting, impactful relationships. The sponsorship program offers different categories to help accommodate and make a wide range of sponsorship packages available.The sponsorship funding goes towards the planning, production, and talent fees for the events. There are equal sponsor slots open for both events seperately giving the opportunity for double the brand exposure.
