Why should you sponsor?
Motorsport isn't that famous in India where a sport like a cricket is predominant. I feel like motorsport deserves more recognition as it involves so much effort and skill set and fitness levels to excel in it. However, the need for motorsport is growing steadily in the past couple of years in India. We've seen a rapid growth in people applying for the VW Ameocup(was called VW 'Ventocup' in the earlier years when we raced the ventos) every year.
As a Sponsor, you can anticipate clients who are actually willing to purchase your product and support your brand since motorsport is already a very expensive sport and our audience are willing to spend the same for their needs hence more reach and potential clients are prevalent in Motorsport Sponsorship.
The sponsorship deals are very flexible and can be altered as the Brand wants to.
I'm Anuranjan, I'm a professional racing driver (at Volkswagen Ameocup 2018, India's biggest saloon car racing event), a student at SRM(Chennai, KTR) and an influencer, driven to help motorsport grow in India.I've always been a motorsport enthusiast, I've been driving since I was 10 (from 2008) and I've participated in many car events such as the Volkswagen Ameocup 2018 driver selection which consisted of more than 100 shortlisted drivers from India and abroad(shortlisted from 1600 applicants initially). I am 1 of the 19 drivers selected to race in this National Championship event. I Intend to promote motorsport in India as much as I can whilst helping brands gain the recognition they deserve.
