About the event

In the North West province the art of interior designing and furniture making is a bit slow to mature and because of this most people use similar designs in the homes, offices, or even churches. The town is not exposed to a different style of designs, they stick to what they find in furniture shops as they don't find something different. People end up buying stuff only because its what they are offered as there isn't many styles to choose from.

This event is about exposing people to a different style of design, opening their eyes to see beyond what they are used to, It's about bringing maturity to the slow growth of design in the province, It's about making people understand the language of designs, It's about channelling their ears to hear "The Voice Of Furniture". An event first of its kind in Mmabatho, with good furniture pieces and designs exhibited and people given the opportunity to order or purchase custom made design pieces with a touch of originality and beauty.

Why should you sponsor?

This event is there first of its kind in the province which will be exposed to great public recognition especially that it will be hosted by a 21-year old. There will be a very strong language communicated through thee art of interior designing with a very classic setting, an event with an international taste. 

should this event succeed it will be hosted annually giving young unrecognised artists,photographers or painters an opportunity to exhibit their work, giving them the exposure to the industry and see the need for their skills in the industry. in these exhibitions their work will be desplayed in a space to show how it can transform the world of design.

This exhibition will help these talented youngsters an opportunity to be seen without descrimating their physical abilities or even being biased because of their academic qualifications, and you as a sponsor you have the opportunity  to help me make this possible, i believe so much in my event, i believe it can make a great impact not only in the design industry but also in the lives of young people sitting at home with such talented hands or those young people stuck on the streets.

Thabiso Mohoje

I'm Thabiso Mohoje, a young man raised in the small town of Mafikeng in the North West province with dreams bigger than my small town. I believe that i can make a very great impact in the world as young as i am and that i can be able to impact the mentality of many young people who are crippled by their disadvantaged backrounds.

I'm doing second year Architecture at Wits University, I registered my first company "Creative Aroma" with hopes that it will be the first of its kind, being the young person that I am with a vibrant mind its only right that i make sure that i transform the world, prepare in for tomorrow. I know i can do it as i live by this simple line "IF I DON'T DO IT, WHO WILL?"
