About the event

Dear Business Owner,

“Viva La Vida”is a 2-hour dancing master class featuring the most amazing instructors in Zumba® Fitness, U-JAM Fitness® and DIO® to bring our community together to supportMichelle’s Place Breast Cancer Resource Centerand to celebrate life. 

I am a resident of Temecula, the event organizer. On January of this year after starting chemotherapy treatment, I stopped by Michelle's Place following a friend’s advise without knowing about all the support they offer to the community at no cost. They offer free wigs, prothesis, a resource library, self-help groups, educational seminars, weekly yoga classes and Reiki sessions, temporary financial assistance, and more.

It is well known that there is an increasing amount of women trying to overcome cancer, and not everybody has the resources to cover treatments or to have access to this kind of help. As I directly received their benefits, I feel motivated to create awareness and to raise money for this organization as their noble mission really makes a big difference when trying to remain emotionally and mentally healthy during recovery times. I will be donating 80% of the net profit to their cause. 

This event will be held on August 11^th2018 at Temeku Hills Ballroom from 10:00am to 2:00pm. We wouldn’t be able to provide an accessible price to the community for what we call a VIP experience and to meet our fundraising goal without the help of people/companies like yours.

Why should you sponsor?

Thank you for your support! In return of your generosity this event will be advertised among potential clients in social media, marketing materials and during the day of the event generating value to your investment.  Michelle’s Place is a 501 C(3) and their tax id # is 33-0951216.

For the event itself we are expecting around 300 people, being women the majority of participants, 25-60 years of age, a mix of professionals and stay at home moms, with young children. We can’t measure the audience that we’ll reach advertising on social media as it could be endless, at least 5,000 people will be reached.

Gabriela Perez-Hudson

Hi, Im Gabriela Perez-Hudson resident of Temecula, CA, Career Coach, Event Organizer, Zumba® Fitness Instructor. On February 2017 I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer stage IV. I started my journey of recovery with alternative treatments but in December due to some complications I had to start chemotherapy. In January of this year, I was introduced to Michelle's Place, a local non-profit organization that support women in the process of overcoming breast and ovarian cancer. I was touched by all the support they offered me at no cost to feel better physically and emotionally. Now, that I feel stronger and my health is getting better and better I want to raise money for this organization as I have experience their direct efforts to help the community. Please join us in this noble cause by sponsoring in our wonderful master class "VIva La Vida", 2 hours of dancing to Celebrate Life and to facilitate the process of connecting with the joy of living through Music and Dancing. I'll be donating 80% of the proceeds after expenses to help them continue with their mission.
