  • About the event

Jewish Veg, a national nonprofit that inspires and assists Jews to adopt plant-based diets as an expression of Jewish values, is holding its fourth annual fully vegan Passover Seder in New York City on April 13.

From an initial gathering of 45 to an expected attendance of 150 this year, we have been thrilled by the incredible response and support we have seen from the Jewish and plant-based communities. Our message-- that human and animal liberation are firmly intertwined, and that we can make a kinder and more sustainable world together-- has motivated many to become ambassadors of compassionate living in their homes, synagogues, and wider Jewish communities. We are connecting people with their faith in a unique and lasting way: through our shared Jewish values of compassion for animals, concern for human health, and care for the environment.

    Why should you sponsor?

This is a truly unique and powerful event that is unlike any other in New York City-- or the world.

By sponsoring a vegan Passover Seder, you are showing your audience that you believe in a kind and sustainable future. You are supporting a growing consciousness in the Jewish community that we must take leadership in this intersectional social justice movement. And you are reaching a diverse community of attendees who are eager to connect with new ways to learn and grow.

Our attendees range from college students to 65+, from secular Jews to Orthodox to everywhere in between, from longtime vegans to those trying out their very first vegan meal. What they all have in common is a sincere desire to enhance their lives through kinder, healthier, and more sustainable living. If you offer avenues to do just that, then please consider offering your support.
