Our Region’s goal is to recognize and honor those outstanding projects, inspirational businesses, dedicated individuals, and instrumental USGBC members and volunteers who are LEEDing the way to a more sustainable built environment in our Northeast Florida community. Ashley PowellI am the Vice President and the Awards Committee Chair for the USGBC NE Florida Chapter. I have been working in the construction industry for more than 15 years and have been involved in green building certifications and community service for more than 10 years. I am passionate about educating our local community about the importance of sustainability by helping with beach cleanups, assisting schools with their Green Apple Day of Service projects, working our booths at local green festivals and expos and serving our local chapter.

As a Centerpiece Sponsor, we are asking companies or individuals to create fun centerpieces for your company's table at the awards ceremony. Each centerpiece will be raffled off at the end of the event. Centerpieces should be reasonable size so that conversation can still occur at your firm's table. Utilize marketing materials (i.e. logo pens, paper, business cards, etc.), flowers and other greenery, giveaways/gift certificates, and sustainable materials (i.e. LED light bulbs, renewable materials, etc.). USGBC Volunteers will reach out to participating sponsors concerning delivery of your centerpiece on the day of the awards program. Each sponsor and centerpiece will be highlighted during the introductions.
