  • About the event

Formed as a response to the fading artistic landscape in and around Deia and the Tramontana area, we seek to generate an artistic movement by assembling a circle of individuals who appreciate the cultural cross -over between art, music and architecture. Vernissage evenings will be held with
the intention to inspire networking opportunities at an event to be remembered.

By constructing intricately assessed collaborations, our team strives to procreate value and substance by bringing together distinguished individuals. Together, we will create cultured experiences that fulfil the aim of maintaining the vibrancy of the town’s creative heritage.

Re-imagining the home as an alternative to the white-cube gallery provides  viable platform to witness art more intimately and exclusively. [As commercial showcases continue to balloon in metropolitan cities, controlled access to art in a liveable context is dissolving. We present the opportunity for collectors to consider works of art in direct relation to their lifestyle].

The exponential value of this event, lies in maintaining the intimacy of exclusivity amongst a collective of likeminded individuals. [Mallorca is a premier destination for taste makers seeking to immerse themselves in a world of beauty. The guests on site will form their own inner community. With the island as it’s back-drop, this experience bridges iconic heritage and contemporary living].

In staying true to the authenticity of the Mallorcan landscape, we draw back on ‘the home’ as a focal point for organic self expression. [We explore curation as a form of building junctions between art and architecture. The artists on display will follow suit in opening a dialogue that transcends generations].

    L&L ART

LL ART are an independent art consultancy and advisory-History of Art graduate duo- based in Chelsea, London, comprised of independent curator Luciana and freelance consultant Lily.
The two formed LL ART to create a platform that catered to the creativity of both artists and buyers. Since their conception, they have strived to match artists with clients and projects that ensured a liberation in self-expression. With +9 years experience combined working in the commercial art industry, brand names such as Microsoft and Lulu Guinness, to innovative arts publication After Nyne Magazine form just a small few of the many under their belt.
As a direct result of their strong and dynamic curatorial practice, LL have accumulated a loyal network of commercial and independent clients. Notably, they oversaw the representation of artist Magnus Gjoen through the designing of British rock and roll band JAMES’ album ‘Living In Extraordinary Times.’ The artwork debuted on BBC1’s Later with Jools Holland.

PARTNERING WITH LUNDGREN GALLERY who are hailed for their philanthropic efforts within the artistic community, Stefan and Parnilla Lundgren distinguish themselves first as collectors, and then gallerists. Having slowly opened the doorway for contemporary art within the Mallorcan landscape, Lundgren Gallery are about to open their third gallery on the island. The gallery represents 18 artists from across the globe, including US based artist Ry Rocklen who was widely been exhibited internationally in several major survey exhibitions from "Made in LA" at the Hammer Museum and the 2008 Whitney Biennial to sculptor Luis Gispert, who’s installations have graced the floors of the Whitney Museum of Art as well as the Brooklyn Museum of Art.  Many of their artists belong to a younger generation and focus on an interdisciplinary, concept-oriented and space based approach.
As avid investors of the artists on their roster, the place where they live must prioritise the display of artworks. The Lundgren’s were recently featured in an issue of House and Living Magazine, who extensively covered their spacious Mallorcan home and gave readers an insight to the true authenticity of the duo.
They were quoted: ‘It’s just that our hobby [of being collectors] has taken over,’ he says. Although their priority is ‘to live with artworks that speak to you every day.’
